Biography

My business background is in graphic design and websites, but my foundations have always been rooted in art. I am a fine artist and in 2018 I decided to open a private art studio close to Bishop's Stortford, to help teach beginners how to draw and paint.

First-time artists are often convinced that they won't produce anything worthwhile, because they say they have no talent. I always say that being creative isn't about having talent. It really isn’t. It's about being brave and having a go. And then another. And another.

THAT’S the way you get better at art. I teach easy-to-follow techniques to create finished paintings and drawings. The results can be impressive and often a real surprise for the artist, and that's why I love teaching art so much.
